StereoCore™ PhotoLog 2.0 launching in January 2015

Following our successful demonstration of the latest version of StereoCore™ PhotoLog 2.0 at the DFNE 2014 conference in Vancouver we are excited to announce that StereoCore™ PhotoLog 2.0 will be available for download from 5th January 2015.

• A revamped user interface.
  
• Logging templates for structures and lithology contacts.
  
• 'Tagging' images with data allows faster logging in the core shed.
  
• Accurate length and angle measurements from calibrated images.
  
• Automatic calculation of RQD on a per-run basis.
  
• Import of the driller's depth log and more accurate depth logging of structural and lithological data.
  
• Import and comparison of borehole path surveys.
  
• Automatic calculation of dip and azimuth (dip direction) values for structures measured in the core using a borehole path survey selected by the user.
  
• An up to date and simplified user manual.

Licensing

StereoCore™ PhotoLog 2.0 has a similar licensing model to version one. You can download the software and freely, make multiple copies of it and install it on multiple machines. When logging a borehole, one uses up 'image activations' to un-distort images. These are available for purchase on a prepaid or account basis.
